Flow heaters, sometimes referred to as line heaters, do not incorporate any storage and are connected directly to an oil pipeline. They are intended to raise the temperature of oil for applications such as distribution, burning or other processes. Flow heaters can also be used where it is necessary to locate the heating elements outside the vessel.

For small applications an EC type heater can be used and is fitted with fixed rod elements. Please contact our technical department for the correct specification of EC heater. For larger oil heating applications EH carbon steel vessels or FH stainless steel vessels are available and are normally fitted with RE, removable core, type heaters. Please contact our technical department for the correct specification of heater.
